Unramblings: Discussions about stories and storytelling with Charlyn Green and Faefyx Collington.
Unramblings started as a purely recreational long-form podcast in November 2019. It was originally designed to give us structured time to have the in-depth conversations about stories and our society that we love to have. Each episode seeks to explore an individual work, how it is told, and how it affects and reflects our culture. Our definition of what constitutes a “story” has always been wide-reaching, and we have already covered various books, movies, tv shows, video games, and even music!
As we saw success with our podcast, we started to branch out. In 2020 we launched a YouTube channel and began producing shorter videos that provide deeper dives into smaller aspects of a work or topic. Around the same time, we gave in to calls for us start a Patreon to provide a way to support our work. Through this we offer the ability to join our live recording sessions in Discord, receive bonus and behind-the-scenes content, and even get early access to episodes. We also worked with RedBubble to produce a line of merch.
